Summer is here and it’s time to get out and about. Valencia hosts many events all summer long, from free concerts to historic tours and fairs of every kind.

If you don’t have any plans, or you prefer plans that are cheaper, don’t worry! We have the perfect solution for you.

Here’s a short list of events taking place in Valencia over the next few weeks.

Mercado de L’Escuraeta

This is a market you can find in Plaza de la Reina, right next to the Valencia Cathedral. It started up on May 12^th and will be there until June 23^rd. Of the many items you can find there; vases, unique pottery and traditional ceramics are some of the beautiful pieces you can buy. It’s open from 9am to 10 pm, and doesn’t close midday, so there’s no excuse to not visit it!

Free Tours

If you want to find out more about the culture and heritage of Valencia, then this is for you. Every morning until June 30^th, from 10:30am until 12:00pm you can join the free guided tour. Just be sure to book a place before you decide to go. Let us know, and we can help!

Feria de Cerveza Artesanal

On the last weekend in June, over the 28^th, 29^th and 30^th, La Marina de Valencia will host the Mareena Craft Beer Fest.
It’s the first year of this festival where you’ll have the chance to try 40 brands and 150 kinds of international and local handmade beer. To make it even better, the festival comes with live music and 8 food trucks making for a great time!

Un Lago de Conciertos

Every Friday over the summer, all the way until October 4^th, the south lake of the Arts and Sciences Museum hosts free concerts at 8pm. Jazz, rock and roll, funk, folk, latin music, flamenco and more styles of music will be waiting for you there.

La Gran Plaza – Mercado Gastronómico

This event takes place once a month during the summer on the first Friday of June, July, August and September, at Hotel Las Arenas! The ‘food market’ takes place at 8pm where you’ll be able to find exquisite gourmet food, live music and wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea. What more could you ask for?
