Natural Pools in Valencia

With summer approaching fast, heat waves will be more and more frequent and intense in Valencia. If you want to take a break and enjoy the best places to refresh yourself, here are some suggestions:

Natural pools. If you like nature and you are looking for activities in Valencia, natural pools are the perfect plan to enjoy your weekend.

Here are some natural swimming pools located in the Valencian Community: la Fuente de Algar (Alicante), El Salto de la Novia (Castellón), whereas in Valencia there are many natural pools which look like paradisiacal places, thanks to the old river channel.

 

Province of Valencia

Sot de Chera: Enjoy “el Charco el Gruñidor” by taking a bath in an authentic natural pool.

Tuéjar: “El Azud” is a small lagoon of natural water that stays at 18ºC throughout the year.

Chelva: With “La Ruta del Agua” get to know the locals and bathe in its waters.

Montanejos: The natural pools located in the channel of the Mijares river, in the area of “La fuente de los Baños”, maintain a water temperature of 25ºC.

Navajas: In the area of “El Salto de la Novia” you will find pools, waterfalls and recreational areas.

 

Province of Alicante

Las Fuentes del Algar: In “Callosa d’En Sarrià” you will find a marvellous spot with waterfalls, gorges and natural reservoirs, with several restaurants and easy access.
