Music Festivals you can’t miss this summer in Valencia
Are you passionate about music? Would you like to make your study abroad experience even more unforgettable? Why not go to one (or more) of the many upcoming music festivals held in the Valencian region this summer! You can find a wide range of music styles and genres, from reggae festivals by the beach to some of the biggest electronic music festivals in Europe! Festival de les Arts
After the first edition of this festival in 2015, Festival de les Arts 2018 returns this year with one the biggest indie rock line-ups of the summer. You will get the chance to enjoy amazing shows in an unbeatable venue: the City of Arts and Sciences!
It will take place on the 8th and 9th June, so if you like rock or indie music, you really won’t want to miss it!
Marenostrum Xperience
Marenostrum Xperience strikes again in Valencia on the 6th and 7th July. It is already established as one of the main electronic music festivals along the Mediterranean Coast and it will be held in the Port of Valencia.
If you like EDM music this is your festival as you will get the chance to listen to renowned international DJs such as Steve Aoki, Quintino and Nervo Energy!
FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicassim)
The FIB Festival will be held from 19th to 22nd July in Benicassim (Castellón) this summer. It is definitely worth the trip as it hosts a huge number of international artists every year. People from all around the world come to enjoy this international festival which includes music from a large diversity of genres and also hosts different activities and camping sites too.
Arenal Sound
From 31st July to 5th August is your chance to enjoy the Arenal Sound Festival (Castellón). The diversity of genres, vibrant atmosphere and beautiful location (right next to the beach) make for an awesome experience you can’t miss out on!
Medusa Festival
From 8th to 13th August, Cullera (Valencia) will host the Medusa Sunbeach Festival 2018, which will bring thousands of electronic music lovers. This festival offers a wider variety of electronic genres: you will find big names of EDM, Techno and Hardcore such as David Guetta, Carl Cox and Angerfist to name a few!
Rototom Sunsplash
Last but not least, we invite you to participate in the BIGGEST reggae music festival in Europe! Rototom Sunsplash comes to Benicassim (Castellón) once again from 16th to 22nd August to delight us with the best Jamaican music. The atmosphere is unbeatable and, aside from the concerts, it comprises a wide range of activities like workshops and dance sessions on the beach. This is not only a music festival, it is a full experience and is open to all ages and groups of people!
